Is there a way to add a name parameter when sending email-only posts? Can I include 'Hi {name}, and if no name {fallback}?

Yes, if you add an “Email content” card to your post then it will be pre-filled with an example just like that.

I did that but the email that my subscribers got contained only Hey, there because the “Name” field was not populated because I imported some of my subscribers from Substack.
Is there any way or tool to auto-populate their name field or will I have to do it manually?

If they’re free members, Ghost doesn’t know anything more about them than their email. If they’re paying, it might be possible to pull that data from Stripe…
