Need help changing the format for the publish date in the admin

Hi, on the admin page, the date is in the US format, which after a couple of posts, start to be jarring because i kept mentally think the date is wrong.

I was hoping to find a setting.
I’ve searched the forum.

  • What version of Ghost are you using?
    Version 2.9.0

  • What configuration?
    Timezone GMT
    Publication Language en

  • What browser?
    any

  • What errors or information do you see in the console?
    not related to this.

  • What steps could someone else take to reproduce the issue you’re having?
    set up a new post, see the date in US format ( mm-dd-yyyy )

Expect:
able to change date format to dd-mm-yyyy, or at least see the date in a common format like “25 Dec. 2018”

Am i missing something?
