photos of linked articles are not displayed on the iphone, but on outlook and in bowser the photos are displayed. why is that?

Lots of mail clients don’t display images by default. It’s generally a user-configurable privacy setting (although some mail clients default to not showing, while other don’t), and definitely not within your control as the email sender. It’d be nice if it were, but nope.

I don’t think this is a bug, but if it were, we’d need all the details you didn’t provide to understand it.
