What happens when you try it? Can you open developer tools (f12) and look for errors in the console and network tabs?

Source map errors are for dev tools and should not be the source of the problem.
When you are ready to share info on Ghost version and probably also browser and OS version, then it might be possible to debug this.
Ghost v6.9.1 Firefox 145.0.1on macOS 26, but this also happened on Windows and Ubuntu

Iām on 6.9.3 and 6.8.1 and I donāt see it for either with Chromeā¦ are any popup blockers or adware active, maybe?

Nope. Themes canāt change the admin panel.
