RSS Feeders ... Where to Start?

I’m new to RSS. Where to start?

What RSS Feeder do you recommend for a newbie to read from?

Recommendations so far via email have been Inoreader, Net Newswire and Feedly.

I’ve used Feedly for years. Reliable, not over-priced. Can generate a feed for sites that don’t have one (usually). Lots of features and ways to use the content.

Thank you. I’m going to try a few out either way and get a feel for them. All new to me, although it should not be. Twas a consideration to offer the RSS feed to website customers as an alternative to subscriptions. No inbox pings, just read at your leisure kinda thing. Appreciate your input. ;)

John’s apparently making one, although it hasn’t been released yet.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

I know Jannis at Magic Pages has something in the works on RSS. It’s currently in beta, with launch soon. Not the reader itself like Alcove but the feed side of things.

He mentioned it last week on his Q2 Open House Call, recorded here (link below) which prompted my question on the readers themselves. Worth subscribing to the MP YT Channel for updates on that. ;)

Be cool to see this on Alcove whenever that comes to light.

Commafeed is nice. And Liferea, for desktop.
