Is it possible to add staff not through invitations but through the registration form on a public page?

Ghost is an incredible platform with a fantastic editor. But until it has its own commenting system, public registration for authors, as on a medium, and the rating system, it will not satisfy the needs of a large audience.

You could create a workflow similar to this using the new Members beta feature. Whenever someone subscribed as a Member to your site you could selectively invite them to your staff team with their email. Once added you could add a label to their member account in Ghost admin. It’s a somewhat manual approach, but best to vet people before giving them access to your admin :blush:
