Stripe Customer Service Hell

Stripe has been refusing to payout the money they owe me for months. I’ve been fighting with their Kafkaesque customer service bouncers for ages, keep getting told they’ll call me, they tried to call me, nobody’s calling me, nobody’s gonna call me, I am at the end of my rope. They have so much money, at this point. And it seems that this is-- a common phenomenon.

My questions:

  1. If you have encountered this, have you found a way to crack their code? Some magical email or phone number that allows you to escalate to a supervisor or whatever?

  2. Those of you who use not-Stripe and are happy, tell me about that? I hear good things about Square?

Update: The issue has finally been resolved. The way I finally got it escalated was by finding the CEO & other c-suite ppl’s emails online (not hard, including some personal emails, I have zero shame) and emailing them that I was stuck, with my case number and other relevant info, asking for help. The nudnik approach.

But still would love advice on Square or other alternatives if you use them.
