Wondering if anyone is using the new Tips and Donations feature, and if so: 1) How is it working?; and 2) Where are you placing it on your newsletter? Thanks in advance!

I just got my first donation yesterday and just as with any other stripe payment (membership) it’s working just fine.
I did notice though that if any one just clicks on the link (in any form), and the tip page loads up, it automatically creates a pending payment on stripe. If that person decides to not go through with the payment, the order is cancelled. This creates a lot of cancelled transactions on the stipe side.
I came to the forum just to see if this can be mitigated in any way, or is this by design considering I have not found any options on the Ghost side to configure the behaviour of this process.
Apart from that, it does work great!
I have it as par of the announcement bar, and as a “button” on the bottom of each article.
