Does that mean that the viewer came from the Ghost “explore” page? If a reader visits via a link to Post A, then views the full site story list and from there visits Post B, does Post B get logged as a “Direct” visit?
It means there was no referrer information available, such as when a visitor has typed your address in directly. Some browsers with particular privacy setups will also not add referrer data when visiting a site which would then show as “direct” because there’s no way to tell any different.
