I love this platform
I’m building a site on Ghost for our not for profit community of artists with disabilities. Many of our users use screen reader technology to access the web. I can’t seem to find any statement on accessibility or ADA web compliance. Has anybody tested Ghost with screen reader devices?
In February, I fixed a really easy to spot a11y issue that affected all of their themes-- there was a clear error message in console that there was a problem:
Actually, I was re-adding a feature that had been previously added and later accidentally removed. For both the original contributor and myself, it took weeks to get a simple accessibility patch merged.
That didn’t give me the impression this area was a priority to QA before releases. You might have look searching for a theme that promises accessibility. I have not looked.
