Add @site.sub-description

Hi,
i am new to ghost but ready to dive in. i am a fullstack developer, so i come at this with a certain perspective, please excuse.

in the handlebars theme, i have access to @site.description which i can edit in Settings>General.
can i add more items? like @site.sub-description?

Since it’s not, from what I know, available in core – I would say yes by adding a span, p or div tag in the hbs template (theme).
