Admin UI: Sidebar missing and always redirected to Analyze

  • URL: Ghost

  • Version: 6.1.0-0-gf9e9c3aa+moya

  • Install method: Hosted Ghost(Pro) service, no custom install.

  • Environment:

    • Browser: Chrome (latest), Edge, Safari (all tested)

    • OS: macOS (latest)

    • Database/Node: Ghost(Pro) managed (not self-hosted, so exact version unknown)

  • Console errors: No obvious errors in the content area, but the admin client fails to load the left sidebar. After login I’m always redirected to Analyze, and the admin menu (Posts, Pages, Design, Settings) does not appear. The post/page settings (slug editor) are also missing.

  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Log in to https://reminise-works.ghost.io/gohst/

    2. Admin opens directly to Analyze

    3. Sidebar is missing → cannot access Posts/Pages/Design/Settings

    4. Direct URL like /ghost/#/pages works, but still no sidebar and no settings panel

So it’s been possible for the last couple months to collapse the left side bar. Is it possible that’s what you’ve done? If so, there should be a faint grey bar on the left side of the page, and if you move the mouse cursor to the left side of the screen it should pop out. (Once it does, you can hover the grey bar again and click it to pin the menu in place.

Lucky I found this because I was about to give up. It is hard to see the little grey bar. I thought I lost my menu and was going to delete and start from scratch. They should make it easier to see.
