Hi everyone! My website is Red Solo Traveler, and I discuss solo and budget travel across America with reviews, recommendations, tips and advice. Purely by chance, I have encountered only a few other travel bloggers on Ghost but i’m wondering if there’s more out there. I am open to collaborating and doing guest posts, or we can simply link and/or recommend to one another. Anyway, if you have a travel blog on here, i’d love to know and hear about it, so reply and promote away! Hopefully we can get a nice community going.
I am not a travel blogger but always appreciate ambitious sites made by dedicated people. Yours look really nice and also useful
Very kind words! Thank you so much!
I’m an adventurer/backpacker and I’m working on setting up a Ghost blog. Will probably launch it as soon as ActivityPub support goes into beta in a couple weeks. For now, my Mastodon account is Andrew Briscoe (@andrewbriscoe@mastodon.social) - Mastodon.
I’m spinning up a newsletter about non-alcoholic beer, which will have a heavy travel component… nice to see another fan of travel writing here!
Hey! I’m not a travel blogger, but I think it’s great that you’re building a community for solo and budget travel. Best of luck with your Red Solo Traveler blog!
Hey!
I think “travel blogger” is a little grand for what I do, but feel free to take a look.
I travel around (mostly) Europe on the train with a Peruvian finger puppet, ranting about people who can’t grasp the concept of the quiet carriage.
Enjoy!
Ruby theme and finger puppets! I think I’m in love!
Ruby theme was the best compromise for base-level Ghost(Pro). I chose it over the other magazine/blog themes because it has back/forward navigation links at the bottom of each post and as mine is like a diary, sort of, it works well. It’s nice and clean compared to what I was using with Wordpress.
I did a minipost about the migration here.
The finger puppet is a jezebel.
