Author Posts Not Visible To Them When Added By Admin

When I post an article on behalf of an author, why can’t the author see these posts on the backend when they log in?

I can see the articles in the backend but they can’t, despite me assigning the article to them.

@Bert_O you created the post as an admin, and added the authors name in the author field - correct?

Are you also listed as an author on the post?

Yes that’s right. And no,I am not listed as an author.

It sounds like the reason is because you created the post, not the Author, so I’d recommend asking the author to create all of their own posts.
