Hello everybody,
I would like the ability to capture customers email address and send newsletters. But without the need for the in-built account functionality i.e. sign in, upgrade, paid subscription etc.
Is this achievable with Ghost?

yes it is u can easily do that with the theme
I am also interested in this. I do not need people to register to the site (at least for now), but I want to offer the possibility to subscribe to the newsletter.
You are saying that it is doable with the theme. Do you have more details on how to do this?
In the back-end, I cannot activate the newsletter feature without also activating the portal feature.
