When I try to select a future date for a post I am working on, it does not allow me to (greyed out). Oddly, I can pick past dates!
If you are talking about post that is already published, then yes, yYou can’t set publish date of a post to the future date, if it’s already published. But, I think you can unpublish the post and schedule for the future date again.

You schedule post inside the Publish modal.
Press “Right now” here, and select “Schedule for later”
