If you aren’t running the latest version of Ghost, the first thing we’ll ask you to do is update to the latest version of Ghost.

  • What’s your URL? This is the easiest way for others to help you

  • What version of Ghost are you using? 5.74.2+moya If it’s not the latest, please update Ghost first before opening your topic

  • How was Ghost installed and configured? via web
  • What Node version, database, OS & browser are you using? Chrome
  • What errors or information do you see in the console? I’ve noticed the formatting looks slightly different if viewing the newsletter in outlook vs gmail. But when I get the direct email from ghost (since I’m subscribed to the newsletter) it loads everything (pathogens) embedded in the text.

Is there some email feature on the backend of ghost that would ensure formatting stays consistent when emails our sent out to our external listserv?

  • What steps could someone else take to reproduce the issue you’re having? Publishing a newsletter–> checking differences between outlook and gmail version

Outlook uses a really old version of Word’s engine that doesn’t support much styling to render emails so there will always be differences.

If you can supply screenshots we’d be able to tell you if what you are seeing is normal/expected or a bug.
