Does Free Newsletter make financial sense for your publication?

Starting a free newsletter doesn’t seem to make financial sense using Ghost. Since you will have upgrade your plan if you reach a member limit.

So if create a free newsletter with Substack there is no limit.

Let me know if I am missing something?
