Editor Bookmark Feature Not Working for Some URLs

Just saw this today for the first time.

I was creating a new page that would have links to 4 external URLs. I wanted to use the Bookmark card feature so that they would stand out.

2 of the URLs worked as expected. However, for the other 2 I got this message:

Oops, that link didn’t work. Retry. Paste URL as Link.

I validated the link’s multiple time and made sure there was no whitespace characters at the beginning or end. The links are public with no authentication. One of them is my LinkedIn Profile.

Anyone else seen anything like this?

Some sites don’t support them I have found, if anyone has some cool ninja trick for sites which dont support it I woud love to hear it.
