Trying to setup a domain to point to my trial of Ghost. I’d like www [dot] domain [dot] com, so I set the CNAME record to [mysubdomain].ghost.com and the A record to @ and the IP Ghost provided.

When I go to www [dot] domain [dot] com my site works, but if I drop the www and just go to domain [dot] com I receive an SSL error - ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
How do I fix this? I have checked on multiple devices and all exhibit this behavior.
