I host my current website on Ghost.org. However, I want to start a new website that will work like a landing page for my coaching business.
I don’t want any menu options on the page, and I will no use a blog for this new site. Instead, the idea is for the potential client to read one page at a time. If they are interested to learn more, they will have to click a single button to go to the next page.
This will allow me to filter out those people who want to take the time to learn about how I work, before filling out a form for a program or whatever it is I want them to do at the end of the squence.
I know I can do this in WordPress or similar, but if I can also do this with Ghost, that would be great. Is there a theme that would allow me to do this, or do I need a customized theme?
@darrenstehle, @kater I built an ultra-minimalist theme that shows a single post at a time, and that’s it. No menus. No header. Each page stands alone. It shows the most recent post as the homepage. Other posts can be accessed via their URL.
It might be along the lines of what you’re looking for:
Amazing! Would this allow me to create following pages? Meaning, you get to the bottom of the landing page with a link/button to “learn more”, and the next page is ALSO a stand-alone page? For example, maybe my idea is to have 3-5 stand-alone pages that the reader has to go through before they get to the final option to “apply” for a program.
Thank you!
@darrenstehle Absolutely! Create as many posts/pages as you want, and include a CTA link at the end of the post content leading to the next post in the series (and then to your final apply link.)
