Global Blocks - automatic updating?

Hi, I’m trying to create a template with a site-wide element like a content block for an ad that can be updated once and reflected across all pages. Anyone know how to do this? In webflow it’s a symbol.

The closest I could think of are snippets: Creating reusable snippets

Though, I am currently unsure whether updating a snippet would also update posts or pages where you’ve implemented it already.

I looked into snip its and they don’t auto update, thanks though

Yes, this can be done, albeit manually with the insertion of some code into your theme as well as usage of HTML cards (which you can create snippets out of). This is how I do it:
