Hello,
Ghost supports transparency through different extensions (png or webp) for images in posts, but not for Feature Image !
That’s really weird and I don’t understand why 
…

I just tested and uploading a transparent PNG as feature image worked no problem. Could you share some screenshots or examples of the problem you’re having?
