I use a transparent .png file for the logo on my website, which looks fine, but when I try to send an email, it uses the same logo, and it looks bizarre in the email. Is there a way to hide the logo from the email? I can always manually add it as an image block.
Yes. Under settings > newsletter > edit - be sure to explore all three tabs for available settings.
