I am very new to all the homepage stuff and kind of overwhelmed. But for my goals, ghost is the way better option compared to WordPress. The only thing that is holding me back is, that I created my site on WordPress and I would like to know if I can use the same domain name?
www.hunde-sprache.com is my current site and if I switch to ghost I would still like to have it. Is this possible?

Generally speaking, yes.
The domain name is independent of the underlying system you use for your website

Other Ghost hosting providers might differ a little bit, but the core concept is always the same.
If you’re self-hosting, it will depend on your setup, of course
