Feature suggestion:
When migrating Ghost between servers (etc), there are a few critical components:
- Posts and settings
- The database
- The image directory at
/content/images
The content exporter outputs the first of these enabling easily repopulation of the system without needing to use the ghost cli backup tool. However, without the accompanying images, the migration cannot be complete.
Suggestion
A button below Export Content called Export Images which bundles up the image directory into an archive (like a .tar) that users can download.
This would be very useful for site migrations.
