I am running the latest version of Ghost on my self-hosted personal blog. I use it primarily to share photos with family.
As I do this, I frequently run into the 9 photo limit on the Koenig gallery component. I sometimes get away with more than one gallery, but in general I do not wish to do this as it arbitrarily breaks up the story.
I’ve poked into the source code a little and see where it seems to be set.
Do you see any drawback in me significantly increasing this number (e.g. to 81)? I understand it must’ve been set initially with some bandwidth or performance considerations in mind. Also, there might be some need for it to be a multiple of 3 (or similar going on) because of how it tries to show 3 images per line.
Please let me know if you think this is a really bad idea. Already I can see I am now going to have to maintain my own built version of Koenig and manually update it alongside standard Ghost updates.
