Increasing the maximum number of images in a gallery?

Is there any plan to increase the maximum number of images in a gallery? The limit is currently 9.

I could of course embed a gallery in other ways but it would be useful (for me, at least) and simpler to just use Ghost’s inbuilt gallery card.

I would like to create a larger gallery of images that just continues down the page. Is there a technical reason why that isn’t a practical or good idea?

We’re discussing this in the Slack group now and others appear to be very interested as well. There might be a good technical reason for the 9 image limit, but if it is simply arbitrary perhaps the devs might consider increasing it?
