Insert an attachment in a post

Hello,

I am developing a theme. When an author writes a post and attaches an attachment in the content of it. Is it possible that I created a button that allow to download this attached file. What I mean is that I want to display the content of this post but the attached file does not appear in the content, whether it is a button external to the content that allows it to be downloaded.

Is there another way to link an attached file to a post without attaching it to the post content ?

Ghost supports file downloads. As the theme creator, you can override the existing styles if you like - currently it looks like a link, but you could include css to make it look more like a button.

Or perhaps I haven’t understood your question. If so, please explain more?
