Locked out of Ghost account with no mail setup

I recently tried to log into my ghost blog and got this message:
“Your account is locked. Please reset your password to log in again by clicking the “Forgotten password?” link!”

However, I do not have mail setup.

I tried following some guides that told me to check my /var/www/ghost/content/data directory for a sqlite3 database, which does not seem to be in that location.

What should I do to unlock my account or reset my password?
I have a very recent backup, so I could also just wipe my blog and start from scratch if needed.

I would suggest to setup mail and then you should be able to reset your password.

Otherwise you have to look up your database credentials in your blog config and follow the guides you have found.
