I am really excited by the new members email newsletter feature, but I was disappointed in the lack of digest option. Rather than sending each post in its entirety, I would rather send an email periodically which includes just a preview of several of the most recent posts. Clicking the preview would bring them back to the website to view the post in its entirety.
Advantages of this feature:
- Can reduce the number of emails being sent to members (I’m worried about them getting annoyed by too many emails, if we’re sending one for each post)
- They still get an overview of all the new posts
- Encourages members to come back to the site, explore the archive of old posts, etc.
Would this feature be considered? Is it on the roadmap? Is there a better way to achieve this?
