Hey Ghost community!
I have a client who wants to create a membership news website using Ghost and run Facebook ads to promote it. I’ve searched the forum but couldn’t find a clear answer to my specific situation.
We’ll have 3 subscription levels:
- Tier A: Free
- Tier B: Paid monthly
- Tier C: Paid yearly
I need advice on tracking conversions for these different tiers in Facebook ads. I saw that you can add a separate thank you page for each tier so you have distinct URLs to track. That seems promising, but I’m not sure if this is the most accurate way of tracking.
Some specific questions:
- Is using separate thank you page URLs for each tier the best approach in Ghost?
- Should I track these as custom conversions or custom events in Facebook?
- I’d prefer not to use Google Tag Manager if possible.
Sorry for all the basic questions, but I’m used to adding a plugin to WordPress and letting it do all the heavy lifting!
If someone has done this with Ghost and has time to explain it to me step by step (like you’re talking to a 5-year-old), I would really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!
