Newsletter going to spam (Gmail)

I sent my first newsletter today, just to see that Google detect it as spam, besides passing the three check (SPIF, DKIM and DMARC). How can I detect which could be the problem?

I’m using mailgun but with my subdomain. I read that there are some Tags (ghost-email, bulk-email) that are sent with the email, and that could be a problem.

First send from a new domain will almost always hit spam regardless of SPF/DKIM/DMARC. Gmail has no reputation data for you yet. Send to a small list of people who will actually open it, ask a couple of them to mark it as not spam, and it usually sorts itself out after a few sends.

If youre running your own mail domain you’ll also want to sign up at each of the provider’s postmaster tools
