Currently, I’m seeing, which appeared to start 3 weeks ago, any emails from my Ghost site going to Outlook or Hotmail accounts are being sent to the Spam folder. I’ve got Mailgun to move me to another shared IP. All my DNS looks to be set up correctly from what the Mailgun dashboard is saying.

Wondered if anyone had any suggestions or are experiencing the same issue?

Many Thanks,

I’m no expert, but on the email client you may be able to star that specific domain name so they don’t go in spam? I don’t have a code based solution but this could provide a more simple solution?

Thanks this was my backup plan. But having to get all users to do this isn’t ideal. Also the problem with this is I have no way of reaching the users to get them to do this as all the emails are going straight to spam : )

I tried to check your site, seems you might want to try adding DMARC?

I read this also: Why do I have to set up Mailgun for newsletters?

Are you using SMTP, if so then it will get blacklisted for reasons shown on the above, this is for bulk emails which I presume you are sending. If so, then you should probably use something like mailGun.

Thanks
