I ran into this recently too. Thank you for the workarounds. I decided to rollback and leave the Ghost installation at the previous version for now.
This definitely wasn’t intentional. pnpm 12.4 (released a few hours ago) added builds for FreeBSD on x64 - I’ll try to get Ghost updated to use it as part of this week’s release, which should fix things for you
