Its already approved by Google but it doesnt appear. Maybe we will have to change site design or change out content strategy.
Google news is pretty awful about what they include. They made it “automatic” in the sense you can’t ask them to approve or why you’re not being added. Seems to be a cost cutting measure. Their news is mostly spam now.
When they did have guidelines, the guidelines were stupid. I will be interested to see if anyone has advice. Mine is that Google news is highly corrupt. If someone could actually get your site on there, they would sell the service (of getting sites listed) and it would be well over a grand at the very least.
I wasted quite a bit of time going down this path.
