Remove tag from latest in Headline

I am pretty sure I have done this with code provided from some genius here on the site but I cannot find it back.

My site has two main categories divided in between two maintags. Along the way I have been using internal tags to collect big topics into subcategories.

Now I feel it is time to start use these so I will switch from the amazing Source theme to Headline (my pet peeve against Headline is the different size of featured images which I don’t feel look good on a phone) so I can create different sections.

BUT..

I just want one of my main tag-categories to be shown in the top section of the site.

Is this possible to do with a code snippet?

Not with code injection, but you can make a routes.yaml file and make your / collection be just the tags you want. (Be sure to make a second collection for everything else, or it won’t get routed.) Yes, this is available on the starter plan.

Ok, I read about those but understand squat how it’s working. Guess I need to give it another try then..

But basically, put two entries under collections, each with a filter parameter!
