Retention offers - Ghost Changelog

[Ghost]

Retention offers are cadence-based – set one up for monthly members and one for annual, regardless of how many tiers you have. Each offer is fully customizable, so you can adjust the discount as well as the headline and description to match your brand's tone of voice.

Once enabled, you can track redemptions directly from your offer management dashboard, or filter your member list to see exactly which members stayed because of a retention offer.

To customize and activate your retention offers, head over to Settings → Offers in Ghost Admin and click manage offers.

Ghost(Pro) users can log in and start enjoying all of this right away! If you're a developer, self-hosting Ghost, you'll need to update to the latest version to get access to everything that's new.

That’s great, thanks so much! Can we limit how many times in a row each individual gets the redemption offer? Otherwise it’d feel unfair to our best subscribers to give discount-chasers the possibility to basically run on redemption offers by “cancelling” every month.

Yep, already built in by default! You can only a redeem a retention offer once per given subscription. Once you’ve taken advantage of the offer, it’s no longer available to you in the future.
