I am experiencing an issue with Ghost when trying to log in. Getting there was a problem on the server. Every time this message. I also tried with a self-hosted fresh installation. After a new installation, it works fine with only one browser. But when I try to log in with a different browser or a different device, I get this issue. I tried to resolve the issue, but was unable to fix it. SMTP is working fine. Looking for a helping hand to fix it.
If you want help, you’re going to need to share some information on your setup. My guess is that your outbound transactional email is /not/ fine, because that would fit your symptoms.
If you’d like to share some information about how Ghost is installed and (redacted) versions of your config file or docker compose, that’ll help you get the help you want.
Checking your ghost logs would be a logical first step for determining what’s going wrong.
If it is an outbound configuration problem, you can fix your staff logins by settings security: { staffDeviceVerification: false } in your config file (or the equivalent in docker env variables. But you should really fix your email, because public members signing up for your site will need working email also.
