So I started using the Sign up card in beta editor.
I noticed something. If a person enters the email which is already used for membership, they get a sign in link, instead of confirmation.
That’s good. However, the message it displays on the card is:
Email sent! Check your inbox to complete your signup.
It is ambiguous in my opinion. It should read something like this:
You are already a member. Check your inbox for login link.
That’s just my opinion of course. Makes things clearer for the website members.
