I subscribed to someone’s Ghost, and my card was charged with the correct amount, but the charge message says “[name of website] substack”. What would be the reason for this, given that there is no connection to Substack at all? Is the charge message configurable by the person running the Ghost website, directly, or indirectly via e.g. Stripe?
That message is configurable by the publication owner. My guess is that they were originally on Substack but migrated over to Ghost and haven’t updated that text. Might be nice to send them a message and let them know!
