I have a bunch of scheduled post coming out and I personally hate being emailed when people I follow post each and everything. Is it possible to have a summary email sent weekly WITHOUT mailchimp that has the post from the week and the excerpt? I think this would also drive people to the site.

I searched the forums and this was brought up in the past and the recommendation was mailchimp, but I am honestly not a big fan of mailchimp and am hoping Ghost has a native way to do this. Ghost integration - Weekly Email Summary

I built something like this recently for a client. Described briefly at the end of this post:

Yes, this sounds exactly what I need. However, instead of a daily email, it would be a weekly one, that highlights the latests posts.

How hard would this be to implement? I’m wanting this because I don’t want to overload my readers by sending out an email every time I post something, as that could be one per day.

I’ve got it written, just lots of customization for her specific case that needs generalizing. :)
