Too many login attempts - after changing password

I am getting the error “too many login attempts” after getting my password wrong too many times. so i did the following:

  1. clicked forgot password
  2. followed the email that was sent to me and set a new password.
  3. set the password.

still getting the error “too many login attempts”… I am hosting my own ghost blog. what can i do to make this go away? will it go away by itself?

It should go away automatically. Ratelimiting works independently of password resetting
