Ulysses cannot connect to Ghost/DO install - SSL?

Hi all!

Noob question here; servers and terminal confuse me to all heck.

Trying to write to my newly installed ghost instance (jonathanhung.me) using Ulysses but it fails to connect.

Does Ulysses require httpS versus http?
Is there a server step I need to take on the digital ocean side to be able to connect successfully to my ghost blog with an app like Ulysses?
