It’s not possible to upload videos directly from modern iPhones, which use the HEVC format while the Video component in ghost only accepts mp4, webm and ogv. Would it cost you a lot to enable this feature? Very convenient for iPhone users that want to quickly upload files to their drafts
Ghost doesn’t do any transcoding on video uploads which is why the uploads are limited to formats that have wide browser support for playing natively. Unfortunately HEVC is not widely supported outside of the Apple ecosystem so HEVC uploads are prevented to avoid people accidentally uploading unplayable videos.
