Using Agents to Curate Content for Ghost CMS

I’ve been experimenting with using AI agents to help curate content for a Ghost CMS publication.

The idea is pretty simple:

→ Find interesting content from different sources
→ Have an agent filter out the noise
→ Extract the useful details
→ Generate a short summary/excerpt
→ Format it for Ghost
→ Publish or queue it for review

Instead of asking an agent to “write articles,” I’m finding it more useful as a content curation assistant.

For example, for a gaming publication, an agent can look for interesting indie games, check the developer/site, collect the basic information, create a concise description, and prepare a Ghost post.

The human still decides what actually gets published.

Has anyone here built something similar with Ghost + AI agents?

I’m particularly interested in how people handle the final review/publishing step and avoid ending up with a site full of generic AI-generated content.

By just reviewing the AI, you can’t avoid creating an AI slop factory.

Even with a final human review, it will still be “a site full of generic AI-generated content”.

Suggestion: Put human at the beginning of the flow, not at the end. Let humans decide what is interesting, before crawling/copying all other sites. Then AI can help to shape it with a structure.

I think that a double revision should be mandatory. I mean, starting and ending the cycle from humans.

This way IA do not chose preferences or the final words, but do the middle job of writing the heavy stuff.
