The default one has PayPal. After enabling it like other processors, you have to enable “recurring payments” as an additional option and wait 3-5 days for approval whilch I already completed in this screenshot:
In the Ghost configuration, I cannot even enable PayPal.
As PayPal is used a lot here in Europe, it would be very very useful if you could add PayPal with the “additional payment methods” feature. Thank you!
I also have people wanting to use PayPal as an alternative and haven’t pulled the trigger with the alternative payments yet so am interested in how this would work. Thanks for asking the Q
Also a bit older, not sure if it’s still relevant for you two, but wanted to add some context in case it helps.
To be precise: PayGlue doesn’t make PayPal show up as a wallet inside Stripe’s own “Additional payment methods” config, that’s a Stripe-side limitation and out of my hands. What it does instead is add PayPal as a fully separate checkout option next to your existing Ghost+Stripe setup. Readers see a PayPal button alongside the normal one, and PayPal is definitely popular here in Europe, so it covers the same underlying need, just via a different path than what you were originally asking for.
