Is there any way to add more options to the Member status outside of ‘Free, Comped, and Paid’? Or another way to determine a true paid subscriber figure (solid label management)?
Background:
We sell group membership subscriptions, managed using Outpost. The group manager/buyer is listed as ‘paid’ and the group members are listed as ‘comped’.
We also offer gift subscriptions, and gift recipients are listed as ‘comped’.
But we also offer actual complimentary subscriptions to VIPs.
This makes it difficult to determine our actual total paid subscribers figure.
Labels will help to a point - we can add them to new group members and gift subs - but then the management of labels becomes tricky when these subscriptions expire.
Has anyone found a good workaround for a similar situation?
