Best image resolution for post image?

My site runs ghost <3, but what is the best resolution for post images ???

I know they will resize auto, but there must be an optimal resolution or an image ratio that is best

There’s no “optimal” - use the largest (reasonable) image size you have and let the system do it’s resizing for you. As for ratio, choose whatever best fits the image and your site’s design.
