Blog + 'digest' email

Some of my favourite newsletters (e.g. Kottke) seem to use a digest of their blog posts as the newsletter…

Is there a way to ‘automate’ that with Ghost?

i.e. blog short posts all week, and then use the newsletter to wrap the week up and send to a list?

Or is there a better platform for that?
